Final Opportunity for Comments: Consultation Workshop on Animal Feeding and in vitro Studies

The second stakeholder/expert consultation on animal feeding studies and in vitro studies in the course of GMO risk assessment took place in Brussels, Belgium on 19 and 20 May 2014.
The aim of the consultation was to
- discuss the results of the 90-day feeding studies with GM maize MON810 performed as part of the GRACE project;
- update on GRACE activities on alternative and complementary studies to animal feeding studies (in vitro, in silico, and analytical studies), and
- provide information on follow-up and spin-off activities.
Anyone interested in attending or providing written comments could register in advance of the meeting. Documentation and presentations were provided in advance of the meeting to registered parties. At a later date this information will be accessible on the GRACE website.
